What insurance coverage do you have?

We hold a $20 million public liability policy, as well as relevant insurance for all electronic equipment and vehicles. We’re more than happy to provide proof of insurance during your initial conversation with your Explosive events specialist.

Do you have a size limit on corporate events you can score or speak at?

No, we don’t – we’ve delivered at everything from small business Christmas parties to multi-day conferences with hundreds of attendees.

What if one of your pieces of sound or lighting equipment doesn’t work on the day?

Things can go wrong at corporate events. A guest knocking a mixer over, someone spilling a drink directly onto the speakers, a playlist refusing to load – it’s all happened. That’s why we make sure we always have backups for both your playlist (in the cloud and as a hard copy) and all critical components.

For larger pieces of equipment, we won’t necessarily have backups on-site. Instead, we’ll either hold them at our Gold Coast headquarters or, for events on the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane, stage them at a nearby location.

Do you provide all the sound equipment?

Yes, we do. That includes a DJ controller, microphones, and a commercial-grade sound system with multiple speakers (as well as Bluetooth speakers for venues where running cables isn’t safe/possible). Depending on the venue, we’ll also bring backups for critical components – things happen, and we’d rather be prepared.

Please note that certain venues may require us to use their on-site sound systems due to noise limits or other operational requirements.

Can we choose what music to play?

Yes, you certainly can. Our online playlist builder lets you choose from a database of more than 50,000 songs, and includes categories like ‘Must Play’, ‘Dinner’, ‘General’, and ‘Do Not Play’. You can keep editing and adding songs until 24 hours before your event is scheduled to start. If you want us to play a song/version that’s not in our database, just let us know and we’ll do our best to source it for you.

You’re also welcome to just choose a handful of must-play hits (or no songs at all) and leave the rest up to us.
